Armor Surface Shield is a premium, high performance Lithium Poly Silicate penetrating sealer for concrete. This product can be built up with multiple coats to create a topical seal while still being breathable. It works well in conjunction with acid stain or penetrating solvent based dyes. This solvent free chemical is ideal for many various concrete floors such as food service applications to prevent damage from minor acids in ketchup, pickles, and many other food products or applications where light acid will be present. It will also fill voids causing concrete to be harder and easier to clean, creating an environment that is less susceptible to the proliferation of harmful bacteria.
After being applied to concrete, Armor Surface Shield will significantly increase abrasion resistance, pull-off adhesion, and water and solvent resistance. Extensive testing has shown that the friction levels are not significantly altered after Surface Shield has been applied. There are no harmful compounds that will contaminate food and meat handling and processing equipment facilities. Flexis Diamond Pads are recommended in conjunction with Surface Shield to burnish a higher shine. Prevent moisture from getting on the surface for 10-14 days.
